What's the story?

Appropriately, the stage was set for their romance with Guillermo watching his country play in a Davis Cup match. After all, tennis and bringing honor to Argentina have always been uppermost in Guille's life mission.

But that picture alone was not complete even for young Coria. The year was 1997, and he was just 16 years old when he spotted Carla Francovigh. She was a tender aged 14 at the time.

There was a rain delay during the match and young El Mago went to the cafeteria to pick up a bite to eat. Standing in the staircase, he saw her. He says "It was love at first sight."

At least for him.

He tried to get a date from lovely Carla for almost a year before she relented. Being 14, her resistance was understandable... but even so, her will-power, admirable!!

But of course, once she gave in, there was no letting go. Guille isn't called El Mago for nothing!

The way the courtship took form was that Carla was also a tennis player at the time, and Coria knew her coach. He got her number. And he soon won her heart.

Once Guille became a pro in 2000, they did not travel together. It was difficult for sentimental and lovesick Guille to do without his beautiful rose.

He often thought about tanking matches just so he could leave and go back to Argentina to be with her.

So finally, he realized that he needed his Carla as much as he needed his tennis, and he needed both together to be happy.

Carla & Guillermo married in December 2003. The wedding was televised on Channel Telefe in Argentina.

Here we see Guille wore the shirt of his favorite Argentinian futbol team, the River Plate, under his wedding jacket. Carla was not amused. But who says 'no' to GUILLE?! He's simply too cute.

Now the happy pair travel the world together, and let's face it, do quite a lot of shopping.

What a stylish pair! The world is right to be jealous.
